THE ESTATE

Destabilizing the structure of the home, elements of grief have saturated my perception of stability and disrupted my framing of family. Confronted by loss, The Estate refers not only to the physical assets inherited after my father passed but also imposes the condition of the mind as a result of this context.
Within this disrupted space, there is a sensitivity regarding the maintenance demanded by our systematic routines that feels potentially difficult to navigate. I still have trouble escaping the instability devolved from these overwhelming experiences however, my focus on growth and adaptation have provided a sense of strength and understanding that are utilized to maintain wellbeing in the home.
