From Greek Philosopher Plato’s instrumental use of three-dimensional shapes to demonstrate the composition of organic structures, these building blocks of the universe are made up of five Platonic Solids representative of water, air, earth, fire, and a fifth element similarly recognized by 19th c. physicists studying wave theory as ether. Its assigned solid, the dodecahedron, has twelve identical faces that symbolically align with the cosmos and the twelve zodiacs.
